I have been playing around and exploring the various forces via MekHQ. But I'm wondering if anybody knows where I can get a spreadsheet with that information? I'm thinking the various types (Mek, Vehicle, Infantry, etc.) In different tabs. Even better if it was set up to filter by year of availability.

Hmmmmm.... I can offer you these suggestions, but they might not be what you are asking. www.masterunitlist.info/Unit/Filterbattletech.rpg.hu/mechfactory_frame.phpMost spreadsheets probably wouldn't have all the units that MegaMek has, they have a very widespread list of units, some that only occur in tech manuals, novels and other source material within specific countries (England, Germany, Poland, Russia, etc) You can sort in MegaMek HQ using the "Search" field that will narrow lists by name, you can use the adv search section to look for units with specific weapons, equipment, speeds, etc. You can also click on a field such as "Cost" "B.V.", "Chassis", etc and it will list based off those. |

Thanks - those both look pretty handy!
I think I'll just start putting together my own spreadsheet progressively with the units I'm interested in.
I have been playing with the filters in Mek HQ, but I want to start playing around with putting together force costs and things like that. Maybe collating all the weapons within an example force so I can keep track of what ammo would be required, etc.

 Obstacles are there for a reason. Some of you have found large lakes, tons of mountain tiles together that form ranges, etc This stuff comes into play at both a tactical and strategic level. |
