As mentioned in the wet water naval discussion thread, this is the concept for the omni transport vessel that I developed. Inspiration came from WWII Landing Craft Tanks and the existing Zogvogal Omni Support Aircraft. The idea is to have a naval support craft which has reasonable speed and large pod bay that can be reconfigured to carry whatever transport bays are required. The large pod bay also allows for some interesting support configurations. Armed versions are also possible and the base hull does have the fire control systems to allow this, but the limited equipment space slots restrict the number of weapons that can carried and the weak armor makes it a risk to engage the enemy directly.
This is the all the bells and whistles, mixed tech, every option available version. A slightly slower version using only 3025 technology and fixed equipment is also possible, I will post it later but the configurations below give a good idea what is possible.

Transport Configs
A few example of obvious transport configurations. There are a lot of other possible combinations, especially when smaller bays for units as light tanks, battle armor and protomechs get mixed together in varying numbers. I've kept all these configs unarmed, with any excess weight being used for general cargo. However the potential exists for variations instead have a few weapons if contested landings were expected.
My thought is the fighter bays and small craft bays (not possible on this design, but possible on a larger boat) should probably be disallowed since while it might be possible to physically carry a fighter there is no facilities to launch or land them. For a similar reason I would argue against allowing a VTOL to operate from a vehicle bay on boat like this, since if that was possible there would be no reason for the helipads available to large naval support craft to exist in the design rules.

Support Configs
Forward Support Base
The FSB configuration is intended to parked on a beach or up river to provide a major logistics hub. Three mobile field base repair bays allows multiple units to be simultaneously repaired or rearmed. Since broken machines also means the potential for broken pilots or crew a small MASH facility allows medical care to provided. A field kitchen with large refrigerated food storage and potable water tanks is an added comfort for troops being supported by the base. An austere infantry transport compartment allows the FSB to transport a small infantry force to provide local security and nearly fifty tons of general cargo capacity allows for a large assortment of items to be on hand.
In keeping with the medical unit aspect of its MASH facilities the Forward Support Base configuration is unarmed. However as a MASH unit it exists in the same grey area as the MASH version of the Zogvogal: if a vehicle with MASH gear today can have its omnipods reconfigured into an armed combat unit tomorrow is it unjustified for an enemy to attack it?

Floating Bridge Configuration
The Floating Bridge Configuration is intended to travel to place along rivers where is expected crossing will need to be made. Its two heavy bridge layer modules deploy to sides, allowing 60 meter gap to be spanned, and can support the weight of most assault battlemechs or tanks. Given the history of mobile bridging units being priority targets for enemy airstrikes the bridge configuration includes several autocannons to provide three hundred and sixty degree anti-aircraft fire. The autocannons also provide protection against hostile forces approaching by land or along the river and to aid in the identification of approaching vehicles powerful spotlights are provided to illuminate the approach to each side of the bridge. To help defend the crossing transportation is provided for infantry and a light tank. Since friendly units in the area are likely to be funneled through the bridge location a single mobile field base module is provided, allowing repair and rearming of those units if required.

These configurations both have significant amounts of cargo space in addition to their weapons. 220 ton naval support vessels have limit of 27 spaces worth of equipment. Since weapons require spaces equal the critical spaces they would occupy on 'mech there is only room for a small number of larger weapons. It would be possible to use some of the cargo space to instead carry troop transport bays, although the bays would occupy some of the space slots used by the weapons.
Fire Support Configurations
The twin Sniper artillery pieces of this configuration are intended to attack opposing coastal defenses during contested landing and then provide fire support to the landed units as they continue inland. Variations with a single Longtom or paired Arrow IVs are also possible. The communications capabilities of the fire direction center also provide a useful command and control capability. A small number of light autocannons provide some defense against attacks by enemy aircraft or fast surface raiders, but escort vessels are recommended if it is expected enemy forces will be able make a direct attack.

Beach Bombardment Configuration
The "Landing Craft Tank (Rocket)" type configuration that is intended to suppress the enemy beach defenses during the landing. The configuration is armed with the maximum number of clan tech 'mech mortars able to be supported by the hull. While 'mech mortars are inherently inaccurate the options provided by specialist munitions such as airbursting, semi-guided, smoke and illumination make the bombardment configuration an extremely flexible fire support platform.
