Hey together. I would like to know, how strong or clever the a.i. of these bandits might be. I took some practice fights against the "princess" bot, to get familiar with my units, mechanics etc. In an equal BV fight, I got beaten up very hard. 😨 Does these bandits hit as hard as "princess"?

You use the Princess bot to fight for the bandits. So to answer your question, yes, they do hit as hard as princess since princess is the bandit.

My suggestion would be to see if you can set up a practise matche against a human. It would mean you both might know each other tactics and/or army composition by the way you play or pick units, but it will be very good practise since humans are more challenging opponents than Princess.

For my part, "Princess" is challenging enough at the moment. When I start to win the first practice games, I will come back to that point, I guess.

Just to let you know, I tailor bandit units to the situation right now. Since this is only the first series of combats. Even if they have more Battle Value on their side, if you pay close enough attention to the enemy force you will notice a way to defeat them easily. I am not going to send a player platoon of infantry and their basic Wheeled APC with machine gun against something that has machine guns that cut the infantry platoon in half in one turn for example.
I realize some players are more familiar with the program than others, so your first two or three bandits should be a little extra squishier.

Do Bandit's remain in their encountered hex after a recon mission? Should I be sending Forces to engage post recon success?

No, bandits almost always exist "in the moment" and very rarely do I have them stick around for more than one turn. If they do something else is likely up. That or you lost to them very badly in a fight and they therefore think they have a chance.
