Is it possible to hire mercenaries or set-up your own mercenary company that others players/DM can hire?

Yes, the way I am planning this is more of a mid-game content. In fact there are several perspective players that are waiting till later to join.... while I write up some rules for this and you folks get more powerful, because...
Essentially once other players earn enough steady cash that they can pay you, and you have "Found" them on the map, they can hire part of your military to work as mercenaries within their nation, almost like an alliance or partnership, but obviously not the case at all. Just remember mercs can turn on you when their contract is up and they have left your lands, but will have gained the knowledge of your territory and perhaps some of your military status in the meantime while on contract.
There is no way to hire A.I. mercenaries yet, but I am considering it
This is a way for people to participate in foreign wars abroad.
Also I am planning that "mercenaries" are the only way for your Empires units to get extra XP from non-combat events. Hence hiring them will give both parties XP for their participating troops. Think "training cadre missions."

I figure it is going to take at least another 30 turns to start rolling in the doe enough to make this viable. I don't have enough for even a pair of socks right now, the piggy bank is full of moths I imagine no one can afford it now till but wait till the shit hits the fan

Well congrats, you all have another 34 million in pocket, unless you already wasted it on chips and dip! So maybe sooner than one thinks?
