I have fond memories of head capping a pair of Atlas while piloting a Gunslinger on the table top in my teens. Same thing to a Banshee and Phoenix Hawk not long after in only my third game. Loved it ever since! Same reason I like the Clan Shadow Cat . Any one else here like the hum of gauss rifles?

Autocannons are a great choice but I like my brawlers a little faster than a snail Few can match the Centurion in the medium weight category Besides blue and read is really stylish - so wish I could get my hands on a 3D printer for this

I prefer Battle Armor and combined arms, but if I had to pilot a 'Mech I would go with this bad boy. Don't underestimate the Javelin as a superb knife fighter with the maneuverability to kick some serious ass if ignored.

I figure it is rather obvious I love the Marauder in either its seen or unseen forms. Doesn't matter to me if it was in RoboTech, just means there is more of it to go around. Sleek and sexy.

I like the chicken walkers. I know to some it might be a strange choice, but the Stormcrow has always had a place in my books since MW2. I like either the Prime variant with energy loadout and plenty of heat dissipation so you don't have to worry about it or the A with the knife fighting 4 x MPL and Streak systems. Plus you can still provide indirect fire with the LRM-20 till you get in range, not that 6/9 is slow. Don't really care about not having JJ.

I really like LRM boats. Can't help it It's all about getting that sweet 7 hex distance for me, with a few spotters to grab attention. Out of the available options I would say the Viking is the best looking to me, but I also have a soft spot for the Catapult, Dervish and Naginata.

I don't know if I would say I have a "favorite." I admit I like the aesthetics of some of the clan machines, such as the supernova, dire wolf and kodiak. Yet I like having specific purpose units like the raven, rifleman, or hollander. However I really like the lore behind some of the inner sphere designs, of course the atlas, but also the cataphract, highlander and the hauptmann (who doesn't like the cigar mech?).

I have to give it to the Centurion as well. Just one of my all time favorites, performs very well in many situations, and was Kai Allard-Liao's ride of choice.

My first love was the Masakari, as the first and only Battletech book I read (and re read) for a good 5 years was DRT (I know everyone hates it, I was young and impressionable!). I'm not a fan of it on MegaMek though, that has to be my beloved Highlander, or in a pinch, Guillotine.

There is nothing wrong with a good Highlander burial. JJ's for the win. Thankfully I am not the only one here that likes the lower end of the spectrum, but I would have to say the Jenner really does it for me, both on TT and in MWO. I mostly pilot lights, yes I am one of those Pirhana fools too. If I had to say a heavier unit a Guillotine is a good choice, but I like the look of the Grasshopper a little more. Tempest isn't bad either in a pinch.

I agree the Grasshopper looks better on paper, but I'm really not a fan of humanoid looking mechs, I prefer mine to look optimised for war.
+1 for the Jenner love, easily my favourite IS light mech

I like the sleek look of the Coyotl, sure it isn't the heaviest out there, but it does pack a serious punch at 40 tons 1x ER PPC, 1x Medium Pulse Laser, 1x LRM 10, 1x Streak SRM-4 and has decent speed behind it for a cavalry mech. Besides I like the Coyote's and think in many ways they are what N. Kerensky was envisioning more than the other clans.

My favorite is the Atlas very few others can come close to the recognition of that beast of a design the image of which alone strikes fear for good reason. If I had to join a clan tourman however I would stick with another "skull" mech the Ursus for aesthetic value alone another good build

I don't mind assault mechs, and my favorite mech would have to be the BattleMaster unseen just for the looks, because of my time playing the Wolf missions in MW2, but usually I don't tend to go for the slower units.

For me i really enjoyed the raven. The electronic capabilities were second to none and it wasnt too bad in combat either.
