I'd like to propose the following megamek rules amendments, which I think will benefit the game as it stands currently. I'll potentially be adding to this list as time goes on so will date stamp accordingly.
04.10.20 Initiative section Change the following to true ; Simultaneous targeting phase Simultaneous shooting phase Simultaneous melee phase
All the above, to my understanding, have no benefit to being done one player at a time. Enabling these unofficial rules will do nothing but speed up the pace of the game which inherently is beneficial to all of us.

I have some suggestion of my own:
For bandit battles we could use individual initiative (under RPG related) which forces the bot to use a specific unit and act with it which most likely will decrease the amount of time bandit battles take. This could mess up certain actions such as spotting with a VTOL for a LRM carrier but the carrier acting first.
Another thing that could be interesting to look at is vehicle lance movement for the 'late game' which forces a X number of vehicles to move at once. Vehicles will most likely heavily number meks and moving them in groups will speed up the game. Do note that this is incompatible with individual initiative.
The classic of arty is also a suggestion, my suggestion is to reduce the number of hexes from 10 to 3, this will severely reduce the time taken to designate all those hexes and you can no longer just blanket an area with auto-hitting arty strikes.
Things may/will be added in the future and those will be timestamped.

I vote yes to all of the above changes. I can concur they do speed up the progress of most games with hopefully minor effects.

I am in agreement with all; but am mildly tentative on individual initiatives. Just to be clear these would only occur in the event of Bandit battles and not against other players correct?

Correct, whilst I myself would be in favour of using individual initiatives against players it is not compatible with vehicle lance movement and I think the latter will help a lot more with time in the big player battles than the former.

My Rule Recommendations are for
-TACOPs Enhanced Missile Defense (Seems silly that the AMS/LAMS can't defeat 2 missiles inbound) -TACOPs AMS as a weapon (That's cool as hell) -Infantry Move after other Units (Being on your feet and in visual range does have it's bonuses as you can quickly react faster than a vehicle)

-Through armor criticals will float. (I never understood how torso's can be effected but other locations can't. If someone can wrap my head on how torso locations rate the snake eyes of death I shall remove this.)
