Trying to begin a brigand bashing and it seems i cannot...
Load MekHQ and load in turn 12 file fine. go to the briefing room and find the scenario and briefing are there but all the buttons above the briefing are greyed out.
Went through MekHQ and MegaMek settings, they are all fine, down loaded the files twice more. Still the same.

To select the scenario? Sure did.
Usually goes select the scenario, bottom left, read the briefing that appears centre and then hit start game above the briefing, fiddle with megamek settings and away you go.

Check the battle whether it was resolved already or if you have any units deployed to it. If there are no units assigned to it or the battle has already been resolved than all buttons are greyed out.

The battle is pending, in the briefing i have 1 unit listed under deployed and 2 as reinforcements. Princess has units listed as deployed in the briefing as well. That all looks the same as past battles.
The difference i see between pending and resolved battle briefings is that my units are also listed just above the after action report in the resolved battles, unit icon and listing of what each unit is.

Do not look at what it says in the briefing itself, you scroll down towards the bottom and see which units are assigned to the battle. In the example at the bottom I have one assigned unit and I can start the battle, if there is no unit there than you have to go your TO&E and assign them yourself which you do through the Deploy option when you right-click the unit or formation.  |

That is the difference i saw between battles ive had and this one and is the problem. Thanks for the help!
Past battles my units had already been there thanks to the efforts of admin.

Ye I had that issue myself once. Just assign the units correctly manually

Yeah, sorry about that folks, I try and "deploy" units for you when I can to the appropriate battle, but sometimes I forget.
