Is there a way to hire full complements and not have to spend 30 minutes editing their stats back to green?

Not as far as I know and I know your pain, it's quite the irritation to adjust them all.

Well the best alternative I could find was to hire individuals and just regenerate when they were anything other than green.  |

Yes, there is a way!!!! From what I know in the past, you only need to adjust the person with the highest rank, in MegaMek that is who the whole platoon gets their "skill" levels from. So if you have one Sergeant with (4/5) and 20 Privates with (anything/anything) they should all still be (4/5) once in combat.
