How exactly do I save my megameklab unit so I can purchase it on MekHQ?
*Edit* Made a custom unit File folder in the mech files and that worked.
Will leave up incase anyone else makes the same mistake.

The path to where the unit files are kept in megamek files is Main file>Data>Mechfiles and then you have your choose of files. My suggestion is to keep custom units in a seperate file somewhere else on your PC for safekeeping and also put the file in the appropriate area under the folder name of your empire to make it clear as when you use those units against other players they are going to need those files.
For example if I had custom units for infantry my path would be Main file>Data>Mechfiles>Infantry>CIM>Custom unit. The units will also have a basic sprite assigned to them based on in which file they are rather than their actual unit type but I am not sure on that.
